Registration Information
Registration is now open for Marketplace 2010.  More than 1,000 delegates have taken advantage of the Early Bird Registration rate and invoice option.  More than 300 qualified Buyers are already registered, giving you more opportunity for business!

Multiple Appointment-takers for Seller Companies

Seller companies are major contributors to the success of the Marketplace appointment sessions.  Based on the number of Buyer requests you received at Marketplace 2009, your company may be entitled to 2 or 3 appointment-taking delegates at Marketplace 2010.  If you had 32 or more buyer requests last year, you received an email from ABA informing you of the number of appointment-takers available to your company.

 

All companies are eligible to bring as many observer delegates as they wish.  Here are a few reasons to bring an observer delegate:

Invoicing

All registered companies can be invoiced for their Marketplace fees.  Invoice payment is due by September 15.  All invoices must be paid for appointment requests to be scheduled on Nov. 24, 2009.
 

Membership Dues

All delegates must be representatives of ABA member organizations whose dues and all other outstanding monies due ABA or its agents have been paid in full. ABA members who have not paid 2009 AND 2010 dues will be unable to participate in Marketplace. The member organization also will not be eligible to attend Marketplace 2011.  For questions regarding your membership dues, contact Roderick Lewis at rlewis@buses.org.

Receptive Operator/Tour Planner Appointment Sessions:

Appointment-taking receptive operator/tour planner seller delegates will be able to select from the following business sessions:

DMO: Receptive Operators/Tour Planners who wish to sell their product/service with the destination marketing organizations (DMOs). Sellers in this session will have access to the Business Floor all day Sunday.

Attraction: Receptive Operators/Tour Planners who wish to be scheduled with the attraction members. Sellers in these sessions will be prescheduled in one of the following, but will have access to the Business Floor all day Monday and Tuesday.

*The attraction appointment sessions will be automatically assigned by the system to maintain an equal number of appointment-takers in each time slot.
