Special Wine Tour

No visit to Grapevine is complete without visiting some of our seven award-winning wineries.  Grapevine Wine Tours offers daily lunch and dinner excursions to the wineries on their eye-catching 25-passenger tour bus, led by a professional guide.  ABA guests can choose from two options for the January 7 dine-around:

1.  Take the full Saturday evening dinner tour, beginning with a 6:15 pm pickup at the Gaylord Texan.  You'll enjoy tastings at three wineries, including a delicious dinner at the third stop.  $89.50 per person.

2.  Join the tour at the second stop, beginning with a 7:00 pm pickup at the Gaylord.  You'll visit two wineries and enjoy the same delicious dinner.  $79.50 per person.

4.  MarketTalk Representative Meetings:  Take a few minutes to complete the MarketTalk survey so the information can be used for the agendas of the Representative Meetings onsite at Marketplace.  MarketTalk is the session where you can join your segment colleagues for an engaging dialogue.  Click here to complete the: [SurveyMKPLRepMeet2012ALinkAuto].


1.  Review the Marketplace schedule for important information to plan your Marketplace experience and to determine your housing reservation needs.

  • Check your appointment schedule and remember all Appointment-takers and Business Floor delegates can be on the Business Floor all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to expand your business development opportunities.  REMINDER: Appointment requests have begun and are due December 13.
  • Marketplace has the most all-delegate events in the industry which increases your networking time and decreases your travel expenses.
  • Professional education is another way to bring back hundreds of dollars worth of training for immediate implementation.  Make certain you arrange your schedule to participate.

2.  Transportation:

Airport Shuttle:  Complimentary airport shuttle service between the Dallas Ft. Worth Airport (DFW) and the Gaylord Texan will be offered on the following schedule:

Thursday, Jan. 5: 12:30 – 10:30 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 6: 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 7: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
*Wednesday, Jan. 11: 5:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

*Departures every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour

Guests arriving outside of the above available shuttle times or using Love Field may use Super Shuttle for their airport transfer.

3.  Revise or reserve your Marketplace housing.  Housing opened May 10, 2011.  Requests are guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis.  Requests must be made by Dec. 17, 2011 to receive ABA rates.

     We are currently on a waitlist for Thurs., Jan. 5, Friday, Jan. 6 and Tues. Jan. 10 at the Gaylord Texan.  We have secured additional Marketplace hotels.  Reservation and rate information is available online

If you received an email regarding your waitlist status, note that your confirmed reservations have not been changed. You can make a reservation at another property for your waitlisted date(s) and move to the Gaylord for the dates of your confirmed reservation or you can cancel your reservation at the Gaylord and book at another property for the entire time.

Do you want to register another delegate for Marketplace and expand your onsite marketing?  Additional delegates can be added by completing the downloadable registration form or by calling us at 800-283-2877.  The on-line system will not allow additional registrants once your company is registered.
